Online Webinar Description

For most people, pain is little more than an inconvenience that needs to be quickly remedied. Of course, it is hard to argue with that standpoint. Pain is, by definition, a rather unpleasant experience. But immediately reaching for substances meant to suppress it might not be the best or most sustainable solution to the problem.

Pain can be an important signal from our body, signifying a whole host of issues, from dehydration through tissue damage, depending on its placing, frequency, type, and intensity. And while some of us might simply be “prone” to a certain type of pain, it is never without some sort of reason, even if we are not aware of it yet. Listening to our body and the signals it sends us through pain can be beneficial to improving our daily life, as well as early detection of more serious issues.

Of course, not all pain is created equal, and not every solution will be suitable for all pains. The first aspect that has to be taken into consideration is where the pain is located. However, pinpointing the exact place can take some practice, knowledge, and understanding of our own bodies. After that, it is good to determine how often and how intensely the pain is felt. In the end, it is time to decide what to do with it. Is it just an occasional headache from dehydration that can be remedied with mineral water, or deep tissue pain that makes life difficult? What should you tell your medical provider during an interview? How can you accommodate yourself or another person living with chronic pain?

This live-streamed webinar goes in-depth into the topic of pain, not only in terms of what can cause it but also what type of pains can we experience, how to differentiate between them and what can be the issues causing them. Finishing it can help with better understanding your body, its signals or needs, as well as communicating your issues to your doctors, medical care providers, and people around you. It will walk you through types of pains, possible underlying issues, potential solutions, and lifestyle changes that can be done to manage, accommodate, and battle issues that cause you to experience pain. All that, presented in a clear, easy to read and navigate way, providing you with verified information and useful resources.
